See You Move
Jay watches how you walk, lunge, balance, step, run and twist to understand not just where you feel pain, but why it’s there.
Every recovery starts by understanding how you move. Through detailed movement analysis, expert hands-on assessment and treatment, Jay uncovers the root cause of pain and builds your rehabilitation around you—helping you move with confidence.

Most injuries are treated with a standard set of stretches and exercises. But no two bodies, injuries or recovery journeys are the same.
Jay’s approach starts from a different place: your history is unique, the way you move is unique, and your treatment should reflect that.
Through detailed assessment, Jay uncovers the root cause of your pain and creates a plan built entirely around you.
See How It WorksComplex problems deserve time, careful attention and a genuinely individual approach.

Whatever the problem, the goal is the same: understand what’s driving it, address the cause and build the right plan around you.

Jay Flitter is a specialist musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience helping people recover from pain, injury and surgery, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
He works with everyone from elite athletes and busy professionals to people who simply want to move through everyday life without pain.
Early in his career, Jay realised that many people weren’t struggling because they needed more exercises—they were struggling because nobody had taken the time to understand why the problem had developed in the first place. That belief has shaped the way he has practised ever since.
Alongside clinical practice, Jay teaches and mentors physiotherapists, sharing his approach to movement analysis, hands-on assessment and rehabilitation to help clinicians develop more advanced clinical skills.
“I believe the best outcomes come from understanding the person, not just the diagnosis.”
Every patient moves differently, and every injury has its own story. Jay’s role is to understand both, then combine the right assessment, treatment and exercise approach for the individual in front of him.
Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing a long-standing injury or struggling with pain that hasn’t responded to previous treatment, the focus is always the same: understand your body, your goals and the demands of your life, then build treatment around you.

Initial assessments are typically one to two hours, depending on the complexity of the problem. This allows time to understand your history, assess you thoroughly, begin treatment and establish a clear plan.

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what’s driving the problem, with treatment already underway and a plan for what comes next. Follow-up sessions are shaped around your progress.
Many people come to Jay after months or years of ongoing pain, having already tried treatment elsewhere. These problems often benefit from a more detailed, individual approach to understand what may have been missed and determine the best way forward.
